Ingredients

Acceleroot® Hair Growth Oil is a carefully formulated blend of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids, which can help strengthen hair follicles, support natural hair growth and maintain a balanced and healthy scalp.

Pumpkin seed oil

Targeted effect on scalp and hair growth.

Pumpkin seed oil (Cucurbita pepo Seed Oil) is rich in essential fatty acids, zinc, vitamin E and phytosterols that can inhibit DHT.

A clinical study in women with androgenetic alopecia compared daily application of 1 mL of pumpkin seed oil with 5% Minoxidil foam over 3 months – the results showed a significant increase in mature hairs and a reduction in vellus hair.

A clinical study in men with androgenetic alopecia showed that topical use over 24 weeks resulted in a 30–40% increase in hair count, compared to 10% in placebo.

  • Topical efficacy in humans: A randomized, placebo-controlled study (2021, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology ) followed women with pattern hair loss who applied 5% pumpkin seed oil daily to the scalp for 3 months. The results showed a significant increase in hair density and the number of erect hairs compared to placebo.
  • Natural DHT regulation: Pumpkin seed oil contains phytosterols that in laboratory studies have shown the ability to inhibit 5α-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT – a hormone linked to hair loss.
  • Soothing and moisturizing: The rich fatty acids and antioxidants help balance and nourish a dry or irritated scalp.

Pumpkin seed oil in Acceleroot combines tradition and science to support healthy and strong hair growth.

Rosemary oil

Where tradition meets research.

For centuries , rosemary oil (Rosmarinus officinalis) has been used to stimulate blood circulation and revitalize the scalp. Today, modern studies confirm what many have known for generations: Rosemary oil can increase blood circulation to the scalp and support new hair growth – with an effect that in one study was compared to Minoxidil 2%, but without any known side effects.

  • Clinically documented effect: A double-blind, randomized study published in Skinmed (2015) showed that people with androgenetic alopecia who applied 3% rosemary oil to their scalp twice daily for six months achieved just as good improvement in hair growth as those who used 2% minoxidil.
  • Natural Circulatory Support: Rosemary oil contains powerful antioxidants and is known to increase microcirculation in the scalp, which can contribute to better nutrient delivery and a healthier growth environment for hair follicles.
  • Scalp in balance: With its antimicrobial properties, rosemary can help maintain a clean and balanced scalp – an important foundation for hair and scalp care.

Rosemary oil in Acceleroot unites centuries of tradition and modern research – providing natural strength and freshness to both scalp and hair.

Bhringraj

"The King of Hair Plants" in Ayurvedic tradition – with research support for increased hair density and growth.

For generations , Bhringraj (Eclipta prostrata extract) has been one of the most prized herbs in Ayurvedic hair care. Known as the “King of Hair Herbs,” it has been used to nourish the scalp, strengthen hair, and support a healthy hair cycle.

Modern studies show that Bhringraj extract promotes the transition to the growth phase (anagen) of the hair cycle, including by influencing growth factors such as FGF-7 and FGF-5 and activating the mTOR signaling pathway – an important regulator of cell growth and regeneration.

  • Traditional Uses: Bhringraj has historically been used in scalp oils to nourish hair from root to tip. It has been applied to support the hair's natural shine and fullness, and is often used in Ayurvedic treatments to balance and soothe the scalp.
  • Naturally rich: The oil contains natural sources of vitamin E, iron, magnesium and phytochemicals traditionally associated with nourishment and revitalization.
  • Ayurvedic perspective: In Ayurveda, Bhringraj is used as a rejuvenating herb – especially in combination with massage to support circulation in the scalp and promote a good environment for the hair and scalp.

Bhringraj in Acceleroot brings with it centuries of hair wisdom – a true gift from nature.

This rich seed butter is pressed from the kernels of the nutritious fruit and is known for its emollient and protective effects. Modern research supports its traditional use:

Peppermint oil

Research supports the power of peppermint oil for hair and scalp

Peppermint oil (Mentha Piperita Leaf Oil) has been used for centuries for its cooling and stimulating properties on the scalp and hair. Clinical studies have shown that peppermint oil can contribute to increased hair growth and thickness.

Research suggests that peppermint oil affects hair growth by increasing the thickness of the dermis, stimulating the formation of more and deeper hair follicles, as well as increasing the activity of the enzyme alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and the expression of the growth factor IGF-1 in the scalp.

  • Traditional Uses: In many cultures, peppermint oil has been used to soothe irritated scalps, balance oil production, and provide a refreshing sensation.
  • Stimulates circulation: The active component menthol provides a cooling effect that can increase blood flow to the scalp, creating good growth conditions for hair follicles.
  • Research: A 2016 randomized controlled trial showed that topical application of 4% peppermint oil significantly increased hair growth, hair density, and hair follicle depth compared to placebo.
  • Natural freshness: In addition to its stimulating effect, the oil has antibacterial properties that can support a healthy scalp, and it leaves hair fresh and fragrant.

Peppermint oil in Acceleroot stimulates the scalp and hair follicles, while providing a fresh and pleasant cooling sensation.

Amla

Ayurvedic elixir for hair

For over a thousand years, Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) , also known as Indian gooseberry, has been a mainstay in Ayurvedic hair care – and modern research confirms why.

Studies show that Amla extract can inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which contributes to hair loss, while also stimulating cell growth in hair follicles and increasing key growth factors like IGF-1 and VEGF. This supports a healthier hair growth phase and results in stronger hair from root to tip.

  • A treasure of tradition: In India and South Asia, Amla oil has been used for generations to strengthen hair, promote healthy hair growth, and prevent premature graying. It is considered a revitalizing hair tonic in Ayurvedic medicine.
  • Rich in Vitamin C: Amla is one of nature's best sources of Vitamin C – a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the scalp and support circulation.

Ungurahui oil

The oilseed that arouses researchers' interest

Ungurahui (Oenocarpus bataua) has been used in the Amazon for generations as both a nutrient and for smooth, strong hair. Now, modern research shows that this unique oil modulates the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, specifically by reducing STAT3 expression – a mechanism linked to stimulating hair growth.

Additionally, it is rich in omega-9 fatty acids, phytosterols, carotenoids and vitamin E which provide deep hydration, antioxidant protection and rapid penetration without leaving a greasy film.

  • Traditional Use: Ungurahui oil was traditionally used by women in the Amazon to protect hair from dryness and sun, as well as to nourish and shine long manes.
